Spirulina chia pudding

Spirulina chia pudding recipe - power breakfast to the max. Creamy and sweet pudding, nutritionally dense to give you the energy you need for the day.

Spirulina chia pudding is a super nutritional breakfast. It has protein from spirulina and chia seeds, carbs with fiber from the fruit and chia seeds and good fat from chia seeds and avocado.

And it’s very vibrant in color because of spirulina. This blue-green alga powder is so intense the pudding is powerfully green 🙂

If you are not sure about spirulina use half a teaspoon of the powder first and see what you think.

Spirulina chia pudding
Serves: 1 bowl
 
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder*
  • 1 banana
  • 1 small avocado
  • 200ml of milk (almond, rice, oat, cows)
  • to serve - blueberries, banana, sunflower seeds, desiccated coconut
Instructions
  1. Add spirulina powder, banana, avocado and milk to the blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and add the chia seeds. Mix well.
  3. Leave for ½ hour or overnight in the fridge.
  4. To serve - add sliced banana, blueberries, sunflower seeds, and desiccated coconut.
Notes
* If you haven't tried spirulina before try using ½ teaspoon of the powder first and see how you feel about the taste.
