Lemon and avocado smoothie is a very refreshing, filling and delicious breakfast smoothie.

It’s loaded with spinach. Spinach needs to be eaten with fat so the fat soluble Vitamins K and A can be absorbed by our body. Avocado and sesame seeds in the smoothie will help with that and they provide more nutritional goodness as well. Plus avocado makes this smoothie super creamy.

Bananas are balancing the greenness of the smoothie with a little sweetness and creaminess as well.

And the lemon juice. Lemon juice gives an incredible flavor to the smoothie. Think of the lemon and avocado smoothie as of lemon water with added goodness 🙂 It really tastes good.

Lemon and avocado smoothie
Serves: 2 glasses or 1 big glass
 
Ingredients
  • 1 - 1½ cup of spinach (tightly packed)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 medium bananas
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 350 ml of water
Instructions
  1. Add spinach, scooped out avocado flesh, peeled bananas, juice of the lemon, sesame seeds along with water to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. If smoothie is too thick add a bit more water and blend again.
