Dried apricots when dried naturally are brown in color. They are great as a snack, in cookies, granola, energy bars, porridge and baked

Dried apricot are a delicious treat when you know how to shop for them.

Go for the brownish in color dried apricots as they are the clean version. Brown dried apricots are not treated with preservatives.

Although they are not as pretty as the orange ones, naturally dried brown apricots are much healthier and much tastier.

Dried apricots can be eaten as a snack on their own, or used in granola, porridge, overnight oats, granola bars, energy balls, chia pudding. You can soak them and use them in cakes, cookies and other delicious baked goods as a sugar substitute.

Keep them stored in dry, airy and cool place.
