Cinnamon and apple smoothie is really fresh, thick and creamy. This is a great combination of sweet and slightly tangy. Both apple and nectarines can have that slight sourness in the background and it works really well in this cinnamon smoothie.

Banana works with these flavours really well and gives extra sweetness as well Also it makes this breakfast smoothie creamy.

Also cinnamon is a great smoothie addition. It tastes great with the apple and balances blood sugar. Win, win 🙂 Plus another win for this smoothie being a healthy apple cinnamon smoothie. There is no added sugar here. Just pure fruit sweetness mixed with a bit of tanginess 😉

Can apple blend well in a blender?

Apple can be easily blended in a normal blender, you don’t need to have a high-speed blender to do that.  Mine isn’t and it blends apples like a charm.

Why adding cinnamon to a smoothie?

Apart from cinnamon pairing really well with the apple in the taste department cinnamon balances blood sugar really well.

Ingredients
  • 2 nectarines
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 200 ml of milk (cow's, oat, almond)
Instructions
  1. Wash, core the apple and add to the blender.
  2. Peel banana and add to the blender.
  3. Wash and destone nectarines and add to the blender.
  4. Add cinnamon and milk to the blender.
  5. Blend until smooth.
Notes
* Add 1 tablespoon of oats for more substantial smoothie option.
