Cinnamon and apple smoothie is really fresh, thick and creamy. It’s a great combination of sweet and slightly tangy. Both apple and nectarines can have that slight sourness in the background and it works really well in this smoothie. Banana work with these flavours really well and gives extra sweetness as well. Cinnamon is a great addition. It tastes great with the apple and balances blood sugar. Win, win 🙂 If you would like to turn this smoothie to even more substantial breakfast add 1 tablespoon of oats and a bit more milk.
About the apple. Apple can be easily blended in a normal blender, you don’t need to have a high-speed blender to do that. Mine isn’t and it blends apples like a charm.
I wasn’t sure if my blender would work with a fruit that is quite hard from blending point of view, but as it turned out there are no problems with blending an apple into a delicious smoothie.

- 2 nectarines
- 1 apple
- 1 banana
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 200 ml of milk (cow's, oat, almond)
- Wash, core the apple and add to the blender.
- Peel banana and add to the blender.
- Wash and destone nectarines and add to the blender.
- Add cinnamon and milk to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
