If you are looking for sweet and fresh (plus vibrant in color 🙂 ) smoothie than blueberry and pineapple smoothie is for you 🙂 Blueberries and pineapple with a little help from the banana create an amazing tasting combo that gives you a sweet smoothie but not in an overly sweet way. The sweetness is fresh and just yummy, just what you would like from a breakfast smoothie.

Oats and golden linseed give body to the smoothie and a boost of good starch, fiber, and fat.

I used frozen pineapple and blueberries which make the smoothie nice and chilled plus very refreshing.

Blueberry and pineapple smoothie
Serves: 1 glass
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup of pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of oats (rolled, Scottish porridge)
  • 1 tablespoon of golden linseed (or brown flaxseed)
  • 1 cup / 250 ml of filtered water
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Notes
* I used frozen blueberries and pineapple and they work really well in this smoothie. Smoothie is nice and chilled and really refreshing.
